With the increasing number of patients infected with HIV and AIDS, more and more advocacy and clinical work to help out these patients have been available.

Many of the bigger organizations are announcing various programs that reach out to all communities, including the communities in the developing world. They usually replicate the most successful and effective HIV treatment support programs as they partner with governments as well as the community groups and organizations and other funds and sponsors. Their initiatives usually provide these HIV and AIDS support programs that are based on the methods that have been proven to be successful even in the most remote and poorest areas of the world.

Community support has been proven to provide patients the encouragement to look for testing as well as treatment instead of losing hope. They are better prepared to start and stick to antiretroviral therapy and therefore less likely to default their treatment resulting to better outcomes.
